A founder’s first impression

After collaborating on their trade show materials, Principle Defence approached us to redesign the founder’s business cards. The goal was to move beyond standard business cards and create something visually striking and tangibly premium – a first impression that would match the confidence and quality of the brand.

Stunning design

We retained Principle Defence’s core brand elements but elevated the design with careful, strategic enhancements:

  • Introduced a new high-end font specifically selected for premium print finishes

  • Used soft-touch lamination for a luxurious, tactile experience

  • Added silver foil detailing to enhance contrast and create visual interest

  • Explored carbon-neutral print options to align with sustainability goals

The result was a refined, cohesive design that conveyed attention to detail and left a strong, lasting impression. Before moving to production, we quality-checked everything through a prototype round to ensure flawless execution

Strategic development

Delivered over a six-week timeline, this project required close collaboration between our studio team and the client to ensure both design impact and production quality. Once the founder’s cards were finalised, we extended the same premium design to create business cards for new team members.

The cards have since been used at trade shows and networking events, making a distinctive statement about Principle Defence’s professionalism and values.

Successful delivery

This wasn’t just a business card – it was a brand moment. The final product delivered on every level: premium feel, consistent brand alignment, and immediate impact in professional settings.
