Radio WASMA Concert Programme

When a large-scale collective of local schools came together for “Radio WASMA” – a massive live musical concert performed entirely by school children – SD Studios proudly stepped forward to deliver the official event programme on a pro bono basis, bringing community airwaves to print. Balancing vibrant, youthful graphic design with precise layout management allowed us to celebrate the incredible energy of the children’s live performances.

Stunning design for local schools

We designed an eye-catching, retro-inspired front cover that beautifully translates the playful “on-air” theme of the youth concert into professional artwork. Centered around a classic jukebox, the design integrates dynamic musical instruments – including a saxophone, trumpet, and violin – layered over modern audio waves and floating musical notation. The bright, striking colour palette reflects the warmth, excitement, and joy of a youth music festival, making the final printed programme a wonderful keepsake for all the performing families.

Strategic development & production

Pro Bono Initiative: This project was gladly developed as a voluntary community effort to support local schools, youth music education, and the arts.

Iterative Design Cycle: To ensure the perfect visual tone was struck for the schools involved, our studio produced 8 iterations for review and collaboration before final approval.

Typesetting & Print Management: We meticulously typeset the internal layout of the programme to handle complex concert schedules, song lists, and school credits, ensuring high readability and seamless print production.
