Game Development for Hawkrose & The Royal Navy
Hawkrose is a dynamic digital delivery focused strategy house – we collaborate with them to bring their strategic ideas into real live products. The ALO Royal Navy event was the first large scale event of its kind.
Our objective was to transform strategic game rules into physical interactive components through a traditional new product development methodology. This needed to be executed in a condensed 8 week window from initial artworking to the delivery of larger-than-life event ready games. The showcase games were to be delivered in parallel with the event style guide, a full brand marketing kit, and supportive digital banner artwork for a third party app.
We developed 11 exclusive games – applying our newly developed look & feel ALO Royal Navy guidelines to game boards, interactive maps, playing cards, and game rules. Directed print buying process – from identifying the printer for the project, quotations, approving print proofs before the full batch production run, and preparing final print ready artwork.
